Question about CC-CEDICT Dictionary

I'd like to know whether the CC-CEDICT can be updated manually or not.

I know that MDBG periodically release an update on http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.p ... =cc-cedict

Can we use that file to update our dictionary?

Hi - unfortunately, we need to do some processing of the CC-CEDICT data (building indexes) etc, so it is not currently possible to use the update directly from MDBG.

The version currently used in Hanping is about two months old. We try to update it approximately once every six months.
