i had the non-prop vesion on my phone.
At the weekend, I logged into the market place and selected update all apps.
Now the hanping app has disappeared from my apps page and when I enter the Market to redownload, it just says installing constantly.

is this a known problem?

i also cannot upgrade (i thought if I get PRO version) it would be ok.

Prior to Pro 2.4, when I was using the dictionary and went to another application, if I used a long-press on Home (with my HTC Hero) to get a list of previous applications, and then selected Hanping, I would return to the previous display, which was really helpful when I am working on a hanzi SMS or email. Now, with the latest version, I get a new blank Hanping session.

I've run a few tests and I'm actually seeing the previous search (rather than a blank session). Please can you give an repeatable precise scenario so I can look into this further.

I have a Haipad Android 2.1 tablet.

I purchased the pro version. Just a note that the audio does not seem to be very good. Not a biggie but more a nice to have sometimes

Thanks for the heads-up. I hope to add TTS support (using system-wide TTS engines) as a backup for when a device (such as yours) is unable to play the Hanping audio files. Also, some users may have some other paid-for TTS engine which they would rather use anyway.
