Hmm, that's strange. Which version of the app are you using? Make sure it is at least 2.7.3. Also, check if zh/dicts/cccedict.zhs exists. If so, then rename it to cccedict.dsd

I have version 2.7.3

\com.embermitre.dictroid\zh\dicts only has this file "abcce.dsd" in it.

I have fully updated my phone, and updated hanping.

Edit:I actually found the following 2 files from an old backup, "cccedict.dsd" and "abcce.dsd".
Copy pasted into the folder you suggested. And now the dictionary thank god works again. :)

Oh excellent, thanks for letting me know.

When the cccedict.dsd file does not exist, it should auto-download/install. It looks like this is not working so I'll take a look at why.

Hi, just a reply to the market version issue. I'm running 2.1 (Eclair) on Vodafone 845, this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741643

No idea how much is the Market app version in this fw modified or whether it updates itself.

But never mind, I can borrow a sim card to do the purchase. Looking forward for the Anki sharing feature though ;)

Hello there!

I'm using the free app (for now), or I was, because some weeks/month ago, it started to be not usable anymore: no way to input anything from the virtual keyboard.
That happens after an update, there has been another update since then, but that didn't solve the issue.
I'm using a Meizu M9 phone, with Android 2.3

Thanks!

Please send us an email and we will look into it.

This has now been fixed in 2.8.1

It's very difficult to understand why this is happening without having an actual Meizu M9 phone to hand. I'll see if I can get hold of one. Meanwhile, the workaround is to use another IME (e.g. Google Pinyin IME).

Hi, I seem to be having issues with Hanping Pro (2.8.2) on my Galaxy S2 (i9100, stock rom, 2.3.6).

Basically, Hanping keeps triggering partial wakelocks and keeps my phone awake when I close it. I have to manual stop the process through the running proccess tab of manage applications.

It's definitely Hanping that's causing the problem as the phone stops being always awake once I kill the process, and BetterBatteryStats has "InstallService: com.embermitre.hanping.app.pro.HanpingPro" as causing the wakelocks.

I appreciate any advice you can offer on this problem.

Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention.

There are only two places where wake locks are invoked: Installation of dictionary data and installation of audio data.

Please can you confirm that the problem still occurs if you don't click on the speaker icon. Also, have you purchased, or attempted to purchase either of the ABC dictionaries? If so, it is possible the app is attempting to download them.

If it's neither of those then it sounds like something outside of Hanping is trying to do something to Hanping which I have no idea about. For example, there is nothing within Hanping called "HanpingPro" and there is no service called "InstallService". Could it be some 3rd party app that does something clever with other 3rd party apps?

Thanks very much for your quick reply. I did some brief testing and it does seem that the issue only arises after hitting the speaker key and declining the download. I've since downloaded the audio files and this has fixed the problem.

Thanks again.
