There should be a link in my profile to "E-mail embermitre". If it's not showing for some reason, then I can send you an email instead.

I can see the error reports now. They are very confusing because they are all happening inside Android framework code (i.e. no Hanping code involved at all)

It sounds like the database file has become corrupted.

Please can you try renaming this file on the SD card:

/Android/data/com.embermitre.dictroid/zh/dicts/cccedict.zhs

to something like:

cccedict.zhs.old

so that it will force a new dictionary download.

If this does not work, then please try using a new SD card.

I'm not using an Sd card, it runs directly off the phone. Renaming the database file didn't work. I'm sorry and hoping you can still find a solution!

Hi, having recently started a course learning Mandarin Chinese I have found this app to be incredibly useful, it's brilliant!

I have encountered one bug during my use however, I've added a few widgets to my screen (in both 1x1 and 2x1 layouts) but although the hanzi is displayed fine, the pinyin is just below the bottom edge of the widget, so the pinyin isn't visible.

I'm using pro version on a HTC Wildfire.

Hi,
thanks for the great app. I'm using the Pro version 2.7.0b, not been near a wifi to upgrade yet.

When viewing an entry and using the "Share" option which is available under Menu button, there is "AnkiDroid Card" option. It opens AnkiDroid's Fact editor, lets me choose a deck, but unfortunately all the columns are empty, nothing from the dictionary adds. This makes creating decks on my phone unusable, as manually it is slow as hell.

It would be so nice to be able to add AnkiDroid cards directly from Hanping. Is this Hanping or AnkiDroid issue, is it solvable?

BTW, when trying to buy the abc dictionary, the app doesn't even try to let me into Market and immediately says that it's not possible in my country. I was able to buy Hanping with Market Enabler, is this a different case?

Enjoy hacking, L.

Hi and thanks for letting me know about Anki's sharing option - I will look into supporting it.

When did you purchase the Pro version? I heard that MarketEnabler no longer works with the latest versions of the Market app (unless something has changed in the last month or two).

For users in China/Taiwan, we always recommend the sim swap: /forum/viewtopic.php@f=3&t=22

Great, looking forward, it would be really a cool feature.

I purchased it in September or October 2011. Unfortunately I lost my Czech SIM, I'll have to ask somebody for theirs - never mind. Maybe just write the price of this ABC dictionary somewhere to your website, as I haven't been able to find it out:)

The price varies from currency to currency so it would be confusing to put the price of one currency on the website. The price is around 18USD (but may vary by currency according to fluctuations in exchange rate and price-rounding).

Do you know if MarketEnabler is working with the latest version of the Market app (3.3.11)?

I am not sure what version of market I have, as in the Manage applications it is shown as 2002302. And it seems to work, I haven't actually tried to buy anything, but there is the option.

That sounds like an old version. Are you running Eclair (Android 2.1)? Which device?

My old phone went down the toilet (htc desire hd), literally. So I got a new one (samsung galaxy s2). And installed this application again, because I love your dictionary.
Anyway I keep getting this strange error? That I can not search in English language anymore?

As an example I try to search for "hello" and I get this message "Error: Neither primary dict nor cccedict exist"
If I seach for hanzi as in "好" it gets the appropriate and correct search related results.

How do I fix this? I tried to uninstall and reinstall, and delete all related files/folders I could find before reinstall. But it does not work...

Now that I'm having a looksie at the folders...

I can find that the "\com.embermitre.dictroid" folders "en "and "zh" are different. the "en" folder is emty... While the "zh" has files in it"... So guess thats the reason.

How do I fix :?:
