FIXED: Problem regarding devices without an Android ID

I've been using this app for the last several weeks and have loved it.

Three days ago it died with the error message “The application Hanping Chinese Pro (process com.embermitre.hanping.app.pro) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again”

I de-installed and reinstalled the app. Same thing.

I formatted my SD Ram card, reinstalled, same thing.

I have an older motorola milestone phone model 855 on android 2.2.1 (no further updates available...).

I am running (OK, I used to run...) hanping pro 2.8.2

Any ideas?

How can I fix this?

Please can you download CatLog from the Android Market and send me the log?

I will be releasing an update to Hanping Pro soon (this week hopefully), so any fixes will have to wait until then I'm afraid.

Hello!

I should be able to do that today.

I should also state that I REALLY like the application - I've used Pleco in the past, but this is much more intuitive and user friendly.

Additionally, I'm very new to Android, and most of what it does / can do / how it does what it can do is a mystery to me...

Yes, our aim is to make looking up words as simple and intuitive as possible. We keep configuration options to a minimum which allows us to test and iterate much faster.
