Anything you want to see added or changed in future releases?

It would be very nice if Copy and Paste were available.
Coming from WM platform where I used Lingvosoft and could move between mail and dictionary.

Yes ;-) But first, thanks for the awesome app! Very useful and works well.

I bought Hanping Chinese-English Pro for Android and I would like (by order of preference starting with what I'd want most):

- Display individual ideograms meaning of multi-ideograms words or idioms (and/or make them selectable individually)
- Display both traditional and simplified versions on-screen simultaneously
- When pressing "back" at the top-level, don't exit the app (frustrating)

- Ability to export all Favorites (CSV would be sufficient)
- Search history (so I don't have to remember right away to save it to favorites)

- Built-in Flashcard functionality (although export would be enough to work with http://www.studydroid.com/)
- Auto-categorize favorites (I have now too many!)
- Cache web information for offline access for favorites

Hi there

Hanping is a great resource, but one really helpful addition would be full-screen characters.

For example, KTDict for the iPhone lets you click on an entry and view each character at full-screen size (swiping left and right for multi-character phrases).

This is really helpful for students learning to write Chinese, as the standard font size is sometimes too small to accurately copy.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Copy and paste would be a great addition too!

Apologies for the late reply - looks like I need to sort out the forum notification settings!

@christermeyer, @Jonty - copy-to-clipboard is a Pro feature. I'm looking into ways of making the pro version available to people not in "paid-app" countries.

@rngadam - thanks for the suggestions. The "back" button one I've been thinking about for some time now. I've seen other apps that also capture this event and some users complain that it doesn't take them straight out of the app. Anyone else prefer a confirmation message (like the one in Astro File Manager)? I'll definitely add some kind of favorites export in the near-future especially as users get longer and longer lists.

@Jonty - thanks for that. Have you seen the font size used in the second screen of the pro version? Is that also too small?

@embermitre: why not make "exit on back button" an option to satisfy both set of users?

One of the core aspects of Hanping is simplicity, so I would like to keep configuration options down to a minimum.

What are the most common scenarios for hitting the back button to exit the app when you didn't want to?

For example:

1. Hitting the back key accidentally (i.e. trying to press another key)
2. Hitting the back key too many times from, say, the About screen (i.e. Back-Back, whooops!)

??

#1
Menu > Favorites, Back key

Expected: clear results and search field, focus on search field
Actual: Exit to desktop (arrrghhhh)

#2
Input search term, oups - wrong pinyin, back key

Expected: clear results and search field, focus on search field
Actual: Exit to desktop (arrrghhhh)

The only situation where the back button should exit to desktop is when there are no results displayed and nothing in the search field.
