Hi, I just bought the ABC English - Chinese and Chinese - English dictionary. But I don't see them on my Android Samsung Note even when I start my Hanping Pro. Is there a user manual that I can read on how to use it?

Hi - I have just sent you an email on how you can check whether the ABC dictionaries have successfully installed. Here is the information again:

To quickly check whether the ABC dictionaries have been successfully installed, please go to the About screen of Hanping Pro - you can find this by clicking on the 3 dots in the top right of the screen on the main search page.

A more specific way to test the ABC English-Chinese dictionary is installed is to search for the word "squiggle" (without quotes). If it is not found then that dictionary is not installed.

A more specific way to test the ABC Chinese-English dictionary is installed is to search for "暧暧" (without quotes). This word exists in ABC Chinese-English but not in the default CC-CEDICT dictionary.

The ABC dictionaries are seamlessly integrated into Hanping Pro. There is no need to cycle through dictionaries because Hanping's search engine merges the results for you. When you have found the word you are looking for, Hanping will display all the corresponding dictionaries entries together in the next screen (the Browse screen).

I know that CC-EDICT dictionary content is being updated regularly by the creator.

My question is, is ABC dictionary also being updated regularly?

The ABC dictionaries are occasionally updated, but nowhere near the daily frequency of CC-CEDICT. As with CC-CEDICT, we aim to update the ABC dictionaries every 6 months.

I purchased the ABC English-Chinese dictionary on my Android tablet but I would like to install it in Bluestacks running on Windows 7. In Bluestacks, Hanping Pro says the dictionary has been purchased but not installed. How can I force an install? Thank you.

Please try the latest version of Hanping Pro (3.6) and let me know if the issue is still there.

Recently puchased and installed Hanping Pro with Google Play with no problem. Then purchased Abc dics, both of them , but they only download and do not Install. Hanping settings confirm they are bought and downloaded but not installed. Squiggle search turns up no matches.

How to install?

I suspect Hanping is having trouble finding the downloaded files. The next Hanping update should fix this. Please can you send us an email to [email protected] so we can sort this out.

I just downloaded Hanping Pro 3.8.7 on my phone (It's an old smartphone, Android 4.0.3) AND Hanping Pro 4.0.2 on my tablet (which runs on Android 5.0.2). I already used it a bit and am very satisfied with the quality of the app, so thank you!

Since I can only make purchases on my phone, there I downloaded the ABC C-E dictionary and all went well. Problem is, I can't install the dictionary on my tablet: Refreshing the Add-ons page says "Found 0 in-app purchase(s)", clicking on the ABC C-E dictionary makes a pop-up notification by Google appear saying "Error. You already own this item" (translated from italian). Tried restarting the app, reinstalling it on my tablet, but neither did work... Im logged on the Play Store with the same Account (I only have one), so shouldn't in-app purchases be shared between devices? What else can I do?
