Text doesn't fit inside the text box

Huawei Ascend P6 (Android 4.2.2, emotion Ui 1.6)

The text that appear in the boxes of the search results are too narrow for the characters to fit in, resulting in characters showing up half. The have a similair problem with the text of the setting showing up half of the screen. I don't know if this is either android 4.2.2 problem, a emotion UI problem or a Huawei P6 problem coz I don't have the same problem on my note.

Is it possible to try a UI other than the Emotion UI?
